The young French house **Les Liquides Imaginaires**, founded in 2011, has created several collections of “magic waters”, including the trilogy of “imagined waters”. This trilogy includes the perfume **L'Ile Pourpre Les Liquides Imaginaires**, whose name translates from French as “Purple Island”.
The boundless imagination of the young perfumer Nadège Le Garlantezec turned an ancient legend into a masterpiece of olfactory art. According to myth, in another dimension, in the middle of a crystal-clear lake, there rose a rocky island that took on a deep red hue thanks to the magical fruits growing there. The charm of these fantastical lands was multiplied by the enticing scent of ripe fruit. The perfumer intuited that this mysterious fruit could only be fig and built the entire composition around it.
The top notes impress with the freshness of shiso mint, the slightly bitter finesse of bergamot, the sensuality of angelica, and the spicy accents of ginger. The heart of the perfume pulses with the delicate sweetness of fig, complemented by the green notes of fenugreek, evoking the freshness of freshly cut grass, and by artemisia with its subtle bitterness. The base provides longevity and depth, thanks to ambroxan, a modern substitute for amber, and woody notes of cashmeran, enriched by patchouli, white cedar, and a velvety sweetness of whipped cream.
Although intended primarily for women, L'Ile Pourpre Les Liquides Imaginaires can also be worn by men, thanks to its complex and sensual character. As its name suggests, the perfume comes in an elegant purple bottle.
